Hey guys,
This is my first devlog post. I could’ve done one with the initial release, but I simply didn’t feel like it. Going forward, I will post these just for documentation’s sake.
My biggest focus after this is some audio balancing and making new levels. Regarding new levels, I’m a bit stuck on what direction to take this game’s level design, but I do know that I want to emphasize on speed and momentum. I’m just not sure how. If you want to help me out with level design (tell me what sections are clunky, what geometry would work well in what level, etc.), check out the feedback form at the bottom of this post.

What’s done
- New (unfinished) level: spiral
- New keyboard interactions in pause menu + general UI tweaks
- New sounds and music
- Improved music handling (music plays across deaths and retries)
- Retry counter
- Raised resolution to 1920x1080 (from 1280x720)
- More generous floor raycasts
To-Do (a ^ denotes a stretch goal)
- Better main screen
- Credits page (for the music and sfx)
- Settings
- More levels
- More visuals + prettier visuals ^
- Ability to record PRs (possibly global leaderboards?) ^
- Controller support ^
